Glens parents drove in today to stay with the kids while we go away to Cancun, Mexico for 6 days!! We are extremely excited!!
Things Im looking forward to on our trip:
reconnecting with eachother
strengthening our relationship
having uninterrupted conversations
no schedule
laying by the pool
eating out for 6 days
reading my new book: 'Crazy Love' (its about Falling in Love with Jesus)
missing my children
swimming with dolphins
enjoying the beautiful beach that God has created

I know we can enjoy all of these things because our kids are going to be loved and well taken care of by their awesome grandparents!!!

How fun. My husband had a "surprise" trip to New York planned for us for the end of Oct, but he can't keep a secret! So at least I know and can buy some new clothes and get my toenails done! Hey, that's neat that you mention this book because my sister read it and actually created a blog based on the book, and she's not much of a blogger! I guess it was a good read! Oh yeah, I meant to say too that you are truly blessed to have good parents to watch your kids while ya'll go on vacation...we have 5 kids and had to farm them out separately through distant relatives. Sad, but our relationship is important and the kids will survive for a few days! Give thanks for God for what you have!
I ordered the book Crazy Love on Amazon the other day. It had 25 reviews and each one gave it 5 stars. That's pretty amazing.I can't wait to read it!
