Our first 2008 Visitor!!

Gramme came to visit for about 5 days. It was a short trip but good enough for all of us to enjoy each other and get our 'Fix'.

We didn't go and do a whole lot. We did go to the Gaylord Hotel for dessert on Saturday night. This hotel is huge and always decorated for the Seasons or Holidays.

As some of you know, Glen's brothers' family (Craig, Mary & Emily) moved to Phoenix last year and God is moving Glen's parents there now. They sold their home in La Mirada and should be officially in Arizona by the end of March. God sure has made a lot of exciting changes in our families.......Pray for them.

~Anniversary Getaway~

We have amazing friends who took the kids overnight on Saturday so Glen and I could celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Glen took me to stay the night at The W hotel in Dallas. It is a really nice hotel. After we checked in and got settled, we walked down the street to a fun Sushi restaurant for dinner.

Our time away was incredibly special to us. We exchanged gifts for our anniversary. Glen bought me a beautiful Bulova watch and I gave him a new wedding ring. We talked a lot about the last 10 yrs and what we are excited to see in the next 10.

We are so blessed to have friends that we can trust with the kids and the kids had a great time with them.

The Big Ten!!!

~Today is Glen and my 10 year Anniversary!!~
We are so incredibly thankful to God for blessing our marriage and keeping our family strong.

Karaoke Night

I know it's already Wednesday but I wanted to share our fun filled weekend with y' all. We didn't have a lot of plans (which was sooooo nice) so we made the most out of our time together at home.

On Friday night we went out to dinner to the Cheescake Factory and had 'Movie Night'. We all got in our Pj's, popped some popcorn, got cozy on the couch and watched 'Facing the Giants'. Aaron absolutely loved it and has watched it 3 times since. It's a Christian movie all about football... (So if you know anything about Aaron right now...football is his passion).

Then on Saturday Ally went to a Build a Bear Party.... This is her bear 'Teddy' that she hasn't stopped dressing and playing with since she brought her home.

Saturday night we baked cookies for dessert. After dessert the kids put on their own Talent show and we sang Karaoke. I got out our big case of CD's, ya know the ones you never use since Ipods came out? Let's just say we broke out an old DC Talk cd and remember all the lyrics to 'Jesus Freak'!!! (Come on!! You know it too!!) The kids were pretty impressed and it was so much fun being silly.

We had some friends over for the Superbowl. I made Taco Soup and the girls played cards.

It was such a nice weekend together. The Lord is showing us that when you spend special time with your kids, you reap so much!!!
